The last screening of the episodic films took place on Friday, the first night of April, and now all the episodic films are presented to the festivals in the form of a feature film. You can watch the photos of the ceremony.

Screening of three Episodic Films by
1. Kimia Motevalli called Grey Haze (Montreal)
2. Parmis Tabari called Birthday (Toronto)
3. A group work (Dutch students) from a series of episodic films.
4. Sahra Varyani Ms. Sotoodeh (Toronto)
Notes:
-The Screening takes place on Ark Gate films campus located at 18 Mill street Thornhill , L4J8C5.
-Screening events will be are held from 8 to 11 p.m.
-Formal dress is recommended.
-Please purchase tickets for each screening from arkgate.ca.
-Photos of the ceremony will be published in public.
The films will be reviewed in the presence of Abdolreza Kahani.
The event will start with the opening ceremony, then the screening of the films and photocalls and a closing party.
Live music, cash bar available.

This is the first collaboration between Ark Gate Films and Toronto Film School in form of a short film Festival, “Norouz” film festival. Ark Gate will have series of workshops to creat short films for Norouz film festival .
We accept Applicants for both online ( outside of Canada) and in person ( in Canada) workshops.We welcome both students who have experience in filmmaking and students of amateur experience. Join us for this exclusive offer to learn and/or enhance your film creating skills as well as create your own short film for the festival in one day!

We are so happy to announce that we’ve had our very first Ark Gate films screening night, with the opening of two short films of our episodic film “These Women” on Friday March 4th. The upcoming short films of the episodic film are scheduled to be screened in April.

AGIFF will include competitions in several categories comprised of Feature Films, Short Films, and Student Films. The winners will be awarded by the festival statuette known as the “Crystal Arkab”, as well as monetary prizes.
AGIFF is planned and executed annually under the supervision of Abdol Reza Kahani. Kahani is an Iranian screenwriter and movie director who has achieved several accolades globally and has been recognized as an award-winning filmmaker in many international film festivals.

We are so excited to announce our very first collaboration between “Ark Gate Films” and “Toronto Film School” will be a short film Festival named Norouz Film Festival.
The festival will be held on the Toronto Film School campus in April 2022.
We will have a one day workshop that helps you to make a short film for this festival .
This workshop is designed to help selected applicants in two categories of acting and filmmaking to create a short film qualified for Norouz short film festival.
1. The workshop for the Ark Gate films and Toronto Film festival will be a one day filmmaking workshop.
2. Selected filmmakers need to send their scripts by March 3rd.
2. Selected filmmakers need to have high quality cellphones for making the short film.
3. All films will be created under Abdolreza Kahani’s supervision.
4. The workshop takes place on Ark Gate films campus located at 18 Mill street Thornhill , L4J8C5.

6. Workshop date: March 6th from 9 am-5 pm.
