We are so happy to announce that we’ve had our very first Ark Gate films screening night, with the opening of two short films of our episodic film “These Women” on Friday March 4th. The upcoming short films of the episodic film are scheduled to be screened in April.

The event will start with the opening ceremony, then the screening of the films and photocalls and a closing party.

We are so excited to announce our very first collaboration between “Ark Gate Films” and “Toronto Film School” will be a short film Festival named Norouz Film Festival.
The festival will be held on the Toronto Film School campus in April 2022.
We will have a one day workshop that helps you to make a short film for this festival .
This workshop is designed to help selected applicants in two categories of acting and filmmaking to create a short film qualified for Norouz short film festival.
1. The workshop for the Ark Gate films and Toronto Film festival will be a one day filmmaking workshop.
2. Selected filmmakers need to send their scripts by March 3rd.
2. Selected filmmakers need to have high quality cellphones for making the short film.
3. All films will be created under Abdolreza Kahani’s supervision.
4. The workshop takes place on Ark Gate films campus located at 18 Mill street Thornhill , L4J8C5.
5. Registration deadline: March 3rd
6. Workshop date: March 6th from 9 am-5 pm.
7.Film editing will be separate from the proposed packages.
8. Registration fee for online is 250$ and for filmmaking is 350$.

The ARK GATE TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM Festival has joined with FILMFREEWAY! Global Film Registrations will start on February the 1st.
The festival is held annually, on dates June 29 to July 3 in Toronto with the presence of famous Iranian director and festival founder Abdolreza Kahani for 5 days in different settings, all dedicated to independent films with free themes and also to stand against censorship.
The first edition of the festival was held last summer and it’s second is upcoming this year.
Selected films will be screened outdoors and on the big screen at night, other activities will be held in the afternoon including the red carpet, the film market, workshops and celebrations.
The festival prizes “Crystal Arkab” will be awarded to the Best Acting, Best Directing, Best Screenplay and Best Film.
In the acting category, women are judged alongside men and only one person is awarded.

“You Won’t See Winter” continues to win major awards of different festivals including festivals with online platforms to date. The movie latest award is the annual award for the best feature film , Abdolreza Kahani and best actor, Ali Aryana from Bridge Fest 2021 in Vancouver.
Not only are we excitedly asking you to stay tuned for details on the very near screening, we also want to announce that our feature film is making its way to Amazon prime where you will be able to watch “You Won’t See Winter” from the comfort of your home, anytime you wish!

Join us for The Ark Gate Retreat sessions every month! It’s a one-day experience in an amazing atmosphere to express yourself! You chill, brainstorm, and come up with the idea you want to work with for a short movie on the same day! We have unique methods of practice each month! Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, grow, and connect in a meditative place!
Report on private face-to-face and online classes after one month:
1- Preparing to write a feature film script.
2- Writing three short scenarios.
3- Writing a script and researching a documentary film.
4- Pre-production of three short films.
5- Pre-production of a documentary film.
6- Acting of all acting students.
Notes:
– These classes are held under the supervision of Abdolreza Kahani and in a practical way.
– The films are presented to the festivals by ARK GATE FILMS company.
Selected short films that win grants are among the annual episodic feature films.
– So far, two of next year’s episodic films have been selected.
